Say hello to Julia, our Customer Success and Project Manager! With over 10 years in IT as a translator, PM, and customer success specialist, she knows how to get things done. When she’s not ensuring our customers are happy, you’ll find her cooking, playing video games, or flying kites—all while managing her three cats!
Backoffice: General Admin Specialist
Meet Miki, our HR & General Affairs Manager. After a long and varied career at TE Connectivity Japan, she took on the exciting challenge of managing venue ID card office for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Games. A true culture enthusiast, Miki has spent over a decade mastering Okinawan traditional songs, dance, and the sanshin guitar.
Backoffice Manager
This is Misako, our Finance and Operations Manager. She keeps our numbers in order with her extensive experience from Sony and various consulting firms. As a certified tax accountant, she’s brilliant with the details. In her downtime, Misako is a huge fan of the arts, enjoying everything from architecture and music to traditional theatre.
Architectural Solutions Lead
Meet Masa, our Architectural Solutions Lead and Director. A First-Class Architect (and JIA/RIBA/AIA member!), he spent 10 years at Nikken Sekkei designing everything from massive redevelopments to schools. He’s also a Good Design Award winner! Off-duty, he loves basketball, art, and music, and is keen to learn coding.
Deployment Manager
Say hello to Kent, our Project and Deployment Manager! Before joining Tektome, he worked as an IT Consultant at Nomura Research Institute, leading projects for the aviation industry. When he’s not managing deployments, Kent is all about action, enjoying snowboarding, diving, golf, and tennis.
DevOps Lead
This is Bachir, our DevOps Lead. With over nine years of dedicated DevOps experience under his belt, he’s the expert keeping our systems running smoothly. Outside of work, Bachir is deeply committed to his community, regularly engaging in community service and religious preaching.
Technical Product Lead
This is Pumidol, one of our Technical Product Leads. He’s skilled in turning concepts into reality, with experience in AI, legal tech, and education, focusing on rapid proof-of-concept to production. In his free time, he enjoys casual hiking, photography, and spending time with his cat.

Meet Ed, our Fullstack Engineer! He’s been building across the full stack since 2016. A creative at heart, Ed spends his free time playing guitar, collecting records, and giving back to the community by maintaining open-source projects.
Frontend Lead
Say hello to Natale, our FrontEnd Guild Lead! He’s been mastering frontend development since 2008, working everywhere from design agencies to complex SPA projects. When he’s not leading the guild, he’s probably rolling dice in a tabletop RPG, playing board games, or working out with calisthenics.

Meet Sam, our QA Lead, who ensures our products are flawless. He brings over 17 years of QA experience from major companies like AIG, Motorola, and Sony. At home, Sam is a self-described hobby farmer and aquascaper, finding joy in nurturing plants and staying close to nature.

This is Yuki, our certified First-Class Architect and buildingSMART Professional. She brings 16 years of invaluable experience from a major general contractor, where she specialised in MEP Design and BIM platform development. When she’s not designing, she enjoys visiting galleries and appreciating art.

Say hello to Dr Ahmad, our Fullstack Engineer and 3D Lead. He joins us from Luxembourg, where he worked as a Simulation and Software Engineer. With a Ph.D. in Mechanics and Civil Engineering, he brings deep technical knowledge to the team. When he’s not coding, he loves to unwind with a good book, especially novels.

This is Giaco, our Fullstack Engineer. He started his software career at just 18 and brings incredible experience from tech giants like Amazon, Apple, and Google. After spending eight years in the US, he’s now in Japan. He’s a keen foodie, a karaoke enthusiast, and loves playing guitar, reading, and walking.

This is Riku, our Knowledge Enablement Associate. Before Tektome, he spent five years at Daikin, working in Technology Strategic Planning. He’s also a US Certified Management Accountant, so he really knows his stuff! In his free time, Riku is very active, enjoying climbing, swimming, and exploring new restaurants.

Say hello to Louis, our Product Manager. His career path is fascinating: he started as an architect in Singapore, retrained as a software engineer, and is now a PM! He’s trilingual (English, Japanese, Mandarin) and an AWS Solution Architect Professional. When he’s back home, he loves to unwind by drawing and playing the piano.

Meet Dr Giles, our Senior AI Research Engineer. He spent 10 years at CERN researching particle physics with ML and Deep Learning, and has published over 10 papers (including in Nature!). A founding member of the MODE Collaboration, he specialises in automated design and LLMs. His hobby? More coding, research, and building open-source packages.

Meet Pat, our Frontend Engineer! He’s been building slick user interfaces since 2014, with some full-stack experience too. During his holidays, he loves to relax, dive into video games, and catch up on anime.

A Chartered Institute of Marketing member with an MBA, he’s been loving life in Japan for six years. Outside work, he’s always on the move, either running or cycling.

This is Ewelina, our Architectural Solutions Specialist. With an ARB-recognised Master's degree in architecture, she brings valuable design experience from both the UK and Poland. She’s also skilled in creating high-quality photorealistic visualisations. When she’s not working, she’s usually taking orders from her tiny (but very bossy) Maltese-Chihuahua mix!

Meet Ryan, our Fullstack Engineer and a Red Hat Certified pro! He started in DevOps before moving into software engineering. Ryan has an amazing list of hobbies: he’s a gamer, a traveller, a musician (guitar), a swimmer, a billiards player, and even a speed-cuber. He also loves building side-projects just for fun.

Meet Ryuta Matsuo, our Strategic Account Manager. He started his career at Tokyo Gas, handling electrical equipment design and DX initiatives, before moving into consulting for government environmental projects. He’s also a certified Chief Electrical Engineer! In his spare time, Ryuta is a beginner in MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

This is Maho, our Marketing Specialist! She’s been in the B2B digital marketing world since 2019, working as both a consultant and as an in-house expert. When she’s not at work, she loves exploring new parks with her dog. Her ultimate travel goal? To one day visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous "Fallingwater" house.

This is Takumi, our 3D Software Engineer. With four years of software engineering experience, he helps build the immersive 3D aspects of our products. To stay sharp, he focuses on calisthenics, and in his downtime, he enjoys making music and reading.

This is Maiko from our back-office team! She has a fascinating background as both a legal secretary and a freelance book translator. One of the books she translated was even turned into a horror film! On weekends, you’ll find her either working on her next translation or practicing badminton with her club team.

David is a seasoned IT and Cybersecurity executive with over a decade of experience building and leading high-performing, mission-driven teams across organizations ranging from early-stage startups to global enterprises. He has worked across diverse industries including AI pharmaceutical research, fintech, global payments and card issuance platforms, consumer retail and nationwide distribution, and cybersecurity and privacy professional services. His expertise blends hands-on cybersecurity and IT leadership with a strong accounting and tax foundation, enabling him to operate at the intersection of technology, risk, and finance. David holds a BS in Accounting and Information Systems from San José State University and is an active contributor to several cybersecurity, AI governance, and privacy standards bodies and professional communities

Meet Mel, our Product Manager. A Certified Scrum Master with six years of experience, she focuses on human-centred innovation. She previously led the development of KKiaPay, a major payment aggregator now used by thousands in his home country of Benin. Fluent in three languages, she enjoys reading and visiting museums.

Say hello to Mehdi, a software engineer on our 3D team! He has a unique blend of skills, starting as a civil engineer for three years before pivoting to software engineering and AI at a major Japanese contractor. He holds Master's degrees from both Imperial College London and the University of Tokyo. He loves music, film, and skiing.
